But in all seriousness. Lateral band walks have many benefits.

  • πŸ‘‰ Stabilizing the pelvis.

  • πŸ‘‰ Activates the glutes.

  • πŸ‘‰ Improves hip, knee, and ankle stability.

  • πŸ‘‰ Activates your core & encourages more core awareness.

  • πŸ‘‰ Improves knee stability.

  • πŸ‘‰ Prevents low back pain by activating the glute meds.

  • πŸ‘‰ Literally warms up the glutes, so you are ready for heavy loads.

Our recommendations: Grab your mini band and place it around the knees.

⭐️ HOT TIP ⭐️ Cranky knees? Move the band above the knees & push against it. This will help create external rotation and will guide your knees over the ankles.

Once your band is in the perfect spot, start moving laterally, keeping your ankles outside of your hip joints. Take baby steps pushing the ground away from your lagging leg. Lateral band walk on each side for 30s. Rest, do a few hip circles to flush things out, then repeat!
